On Saturday, April 12, former Deland High School standout Lauren Fantone’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Rollins Tars.
The game took place at Rollins Softball Stadium at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. This was their third matchup against the Tars this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Florida Tech Panthers.
