On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Deland High School standout Lauren Fantone’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.
The game took place at Steel’s Diamond at Blazer Park. This was their first matchup against the Blazers this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at Steel’s Diamond at Blazer Park against Valdosta State Blazers.
