On Friday, Feb. 28, former Deland High School standout Will Rodriguez’s current college team, the Hanover Panthers, lost 14-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels.
The game took place at Hermance Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Stormy Petrels this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at Don and Sue Schaly Field at Pioneer Park against North Central Cardinals.
