At 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13, Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions, featuring junior outfielder and former Deltona High School athlete Veronica Puckett, defeated the Houston Christian Huskies 19-0 in their NCAA Division I softball contest.
North Oak Park hosted the game, which marked the second meeting between the Lady Lions and the Huskies this season. In their earlier matchup, also on Friday, March 13, the Lady Lions prevailed with an 8-0 victory.
Puckett contributed a hit in her sole at-bat and scored a run.
The Lady Lions return to action at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at North Oak Park for another game against the Houston Christian Huskies.
