Enjoy some close encounters with endangered sea turtles and other marine life during Turtle Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Marine Science Center, 100 Lighthouse Drive, Ponce Inlet.

Animal rehabilitation staff will explain how they care for injured birds and sea turtles. They will also have live animal and environmental presentations, while exhibitors from regional conservation organizations will provide information on area projects. Other activities will include live music, food and beverages, and crafts for children. There will not be a turtle release during this year’s event.
