A 2-year-old girl is recovering after she was found unresponsive in her family’s pool on Sunday, March 12. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office, Volusia County Fire Rescue, and the child’s relatives acted quickly and heroically to save this child’s life. 

“Cases like this demonstrate the importance of performing immediate life saving measures,” said Volusia County Fire Chief Joe King. “Many people played a role for the successful outcome for this child and we are happy to hear she is doing well.”
