It’s been more than a week since Robert Apgar retired as Mayor, but we had one last surprise for him.
For those who don’t know, Bob graduated from Davidson College. He is also is a very enthusiastic sports guy and still follows Davidson basketball.
So we thought it would be fitting to ask Stephen Curry, perhaps Davidson’s most famous graduate, to congratulate Bob on his retirement.

The only H-1B petition filed by an employer classified under the Transportation and Warehousing industry located across West Volusia News publication area was approved in 2024, as per data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub.
