On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Deland High School standout Lauren Fantone’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.
The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Hurricanes this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.
