On Wednesday, March 12, former Deland High School standout Lauren Fantone’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Caldwell Cougars.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish.
