On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Deland High School standout Will Rodriguez’s current college team, the Hanover Panthers, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Methodist Monarchs.
The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their first matchup against the Monarchs this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at Loudermilk Field against Piedmont Lions.
