On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Deland High School standout Sam Monk’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, won 11-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs.
The game took place at SWOSU Athletic Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 12:10 p.m. at CSUSM Baseball Field against Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
