From February 2, 2023 post.

From Sheriff Mike Chitwood: We brought pizza to Mainland High School this week to congratulate the Bucs on a hard-fought season all the way to the final battle. Polk County Sheriff’s Office Grady Judd was kind enough to send along patches, challenge coins and a message on behalf of his state champion Lake Wales High School Highlanders. ALL these young men give me great hope for the future of our community and country. From all of us at the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, THANK YOU for representing this county so well!
