City of Deland issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
Service has been restored to all customers in areas including but not limited to Cross Creek, Glenwood Springs, the Cascades, Hunters Creek Apartments and Oak Ridge Condos (it may take a bit for air to clear out of the system and pressure to build for water to start flowing but should be soon).
A 48 hour boil water advisory is in effect for all customers in these areas who had extended water outage.
