The Volusia County Council will host an affordable housing summit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.

Following an informational morning session, attendees will split into breakout groups that will focus on different topics concerning affordable housing. After the summit, community work groups will be formed to create an action plan.

The public is invited to attend, participate and provide comments. Lunch will be provided. Registration is available at https://volusiacountyaffordablehousingsummit.eventbrite.com.
