The Halifax Art Festival in Daytona Beach happens along the riverfront in downtown Daytona Beach. The Festival features juried local, regional, and national original works of art from over 225 artists This year the festival has a centralized new layout. Booths will be on palm-lined Beach Street, City Island and Magnolia Avenue (scroll the images above to see a map). The Student Art Exhibit and Competition (K-12) will be located in the News-Journal Center building, 221 N. Beach St. during festival hours. Live music Saturday and Sunday. This juried art festival has enriched the area for 59 years, making it the second oldest continual art festival in Florida, and is considered to be one of the most prestigious festivals in Central Florida. Offering live entertainment, a student art competition, children's activities, dining in local restaurants and cafes, the festival benefits the Museum of Arts & Sciences and was named a Top 200 Festival in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine.
