We had 60+ deputies and detectives out on a special traffic enforcement and crime suppression operation across Volusia County.
This resulted in 136 traffic stops, 19 felony arrests, 17 misdemeanor arrests, and dozens of citations and warnings. The assignment from Sheriff Mike Chitwood is to make Volusia County safer for everybody!
