Yesterday, detectives with the East Volusia Narcotics Task Force located Brian Keith Allen (DOB 12/16/1989), a known narcotics dealer with multiple open warrants, at Andros Isles Apartments in Daytona Beach.
After identifying Allen while conducting surveillance of the apartment, detectives took him into custody without incident.
After obtaining a search warrant for the apartment, detectives found:
128.8 grams fentanyl
25.3 grams methamphetamine
5 grams crack cocaine
15 Schedule II pills
33 grams THC concentrate
3.19 grams cannabis
$2,322 cash
Allen was charged with:
Trafficking in fentanyl over 28 grams: $500,000 bond
Manufacturing fentanyl: $500,000 bond
Trafficking in methamphetamine 14-28 grams: $500,000 bond
Possession of Cocaine with intent to sell: $10,000 bond
Possession of Schedule II with intent to sell: $10,000 bond
Possession of cannabis less than 20 grams: $500 bond
Violation of probation: Possession of cocaine with intent to sell and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement: No bond
Two women who interfered with the execution of the search warrant were also arrested on scene. Daleesha Davis, 30, attempted to force her way into the apartment, stomped on detectives' feet and kneed one in the groin. Davis was charged with resisting arrest and 2 counts of battery on a law enforcement officer. Her colleague Bernadette Jackson, 31, was also charged with resisting an officer without violence.
