Aquarium Manager Christian Lane takes his job seriously. Once a week, he takes a deep dive into the Marine Science Center’s artificial reef aquarium to remove algae and keep its inhabitants healthy. The artificial reef exhibit is part of the 10,000-gallon main system that also includes a stingray touch tank, mangrove exhibit and invertebrate touch tank.
Stop by the Marine Science Center any day but Monday to view the exhibits, check out the seabird rehab area, and watch as staff cares for injured and sick sea turtles. Learn more at www.marinesciencecenter.com.
